Some of you may recall my These are the Daves I know (and other people I met at TAM 5) thread from January 2007, or maybe just recall that bloke checking off everyone he met who was on the forum, or you love bacon chocolate tacos as much as I and had to click on the latest thread in the tag. Yow, xenxabar! I don't remember meeting you. Much of TAM was a blur of unfamiliar faces to me, being a relative newbie who has absorbed only a small fraction of the user names of people on this forum. I need to practice some Banachek-style mnemonics.
 
I know who xenxabar is! And I know his name is Aaron (I think). Maybe people should download some of the tam pix (sounds like tampax) with their pix in them for their profile. I'm trying to get the names and faces associated with the screen personalities I've come to know.
 
I know I met a bunch of you, but I'm way, way behind in getting faces to go with names. This is Miss Kitt, aka Kitt in the wheelchair (and in the way). Thanks to all for being nice!

Were you the one going to law school? I talked with someone in a scooter, I think... I don't know if that counts as a wheel chair. I think there were several wheel chairs and scooters, weren't there? I'm articulett a.k.a. Angela and I went to law school, but didn't finish it. Was that you I was talking to?
 
TAM 6 was the most awesome time of my life. Met so many amazing people, and I still haven't caught up on sleep!! Chatted with PZ Myers till 2am on the Friday night, and Jay Novella till 6:30am on Saturday morning!! WOWZAS!! I cannot wait till next year, and am recruiting more people to come in the mean time. Was great to meet such awesome people
 
I'm in awe of everyone who can successfully match a face with a forum name. I'm going crazy because there are plenty of people I enjoyed meeting, whose names I only know IRL, or can't remember at all. Stupid alcohol--the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.
