I was just now doing the podcast trying to explain to Jay et al exactly how much I had to drink Saturday/Sunday, and found it was just impossible. I mean, I was faced before I even showed up at the party, and it just went downhill from there. Or uphill depending upon your perspective.

Perhaps best not to think about it too much.

I think I'm going to dry out for a couple of decades after this past weekend.

I only had a few drinks in 2007 but planned to be off the wagon for the weekend. I don't feel a bit guilty, although it's possible I don't remember everything I did. The only scare was when I woke up Sunday morning to the hotel housekeeper saying "Oh!" I was on top of the covers and thought, "Geez, I hope I'm wearing clothes." I was. And shoes.

So housekeeping had to wake you up on Sunday, too, huh? That makes about 20 of us.

The woman who woke me wasn't very pleasant. I briefly considered breathing on her.
