TAM 2012 Las Vegas

Is there any info about TAM10 yet? I was just thinking it might be a good idea to start booking to get better prices. Westjet has decently priced flights from Montreal, I think.

I mean beyond that. :P Like, who the speakers are gonna be, any kind of schedule or whatever...

No info yet, but keep checking the TAM site.

Shouldn't be too long now...

ETA: Last year, the line up of speakers wasn't announced until mid-March, when registration opened up, so we may still have a couple of months to wait.

I saw that tweet too. The last one was fun and full of sugary goodness.

I was offended by how unoffensive it was last year. I was expecting some of that in-your-face controversial stuff Penn is known to dish out. Perhaps, this year, he'll up the offensiveness factor, so those of us expecting to be highly offended would be more pleased with it.

Maybe offensiveness is to TAM attendees as heroin is to a junkie. We get used to it and need a higher dose to have the same reaction.

Yes--certainly last year I don't think the party fully lived up to what was advertised... Here's hoping this year it does. :D

There's a 72 hour starting at the Southpoint tomorrow and the TAM nights are not blocked out.

I doubt that I can afford to go, but some might find this useful.

Okay. Sorry. I'm wrong. Just thought I'd check those dates and they are blocked out. Odd. Because until you actually check, they show up as available.

But you know what? It could be because the sale isn't on yet. All dates are blocked out when I check.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on that.

For the record, as of right now hotels.com offers a $79 per day average (plus tax) for 5 nights, Wed to Sun. That makes a total of $439.31 tax included.

Apparently there will be another Bacon and Doughnut Party.

This is great. I quite enjoyed the party. Americans tend to be offended quite easily (i.e. Justin Timberlake/Janet Jackson at the American football Superbowl half-time show a few years ago), so I am not surprised of the warning from Penn.

Has anyone heard anything of the optional sessions (I want to learn how to juggle, as it was offered at TAM8)?
