Struck down mandate.
OK, time to pack the *********** court. Roosevelt had the right idea.

WHAT DID I JUST SAY about spouting off before you know what's going on?? (Insert smiley guy here.)Struck down mandate.

Wait. I JUST heard on NPR (Dianne Reim show) that the individual mandate was struck down.
Not any more:

Right and those new customers will be charged to be on the policy . Stuff isn't free. And they'll be "forced" to accept a bunch of new customers if the mandate is allowed to stand.
Well then, the increases as shown can't be due to the evil insurance companies jacking up their profits can they? But as I pointed out, they're also not allowed to jack up premiums for no reason whatsoever, as they could have in the past.
Look, if your going to ask for evidence, then just dishonestly hand wave it away, essentially saying "it's a lie", why do you even bother asking for evidence? The onus is now on you to demonstrate otherwise. No, they put that portion of the bar graph in a different color and said this is how much of the premium they attribute to changes due to the ACA. This is not evidence that it's so.
Why bother, you'll just hand wave it away.Oh--well, that's a reasonable response to a request for evidence to support an unsubstantiated claim.
You didn't address the fact that the when you add new coverages, that naturally adds costs to the policy. The insurance company also makes profits (as do insurance agents), and they also spend a boatload of money on marketing. Where do you think *that* money comes from?
LOL. The additional stuff that has been added to my policy could have been added by me if I wanted it. I don't want it or need it.Yes, calling the reasonable standards of minimum essential coverage (so that people who think they are insured are actually insured) "goodies" is just so much spin. And the "many of us don't want or need" argument only works if you treat our national health care crisis from a rugged individualist point of view.
Of course, and Obamacare does nothing to change that. In fact it has made it worse as I have shown.I am against the health care law but mine had been going up dramatically long before Barack Obama became a household name.
Perhaps you can explain how to magically create other free stuff?Exactly. And the idea that premiums will drop if the ACA is struck down today is silly.
The mandate can't be justified under the commerce Clause, but survives as a tax.
Without having read the opinion yet, I can't help but conclude at first glance that the court is full of six retards who can't read.
I don't read SCOTUS decisions. I wait for Brown to explain them to me.
