Supernatural Powers from TM?

Agreed

Moochie,
I agree on that totally. I just meant the "other side" of facing fears, precisely _in_ the here and now.
take care,
Josh
We grow and become better people when we grow and become better people.

There is no "other side." There is here, now. Sleep through it or be awake. Your choice.

I'm a trained teacher of TM and left the organization just as the Siddhi program was starting. We were indeed told these things.

Paul, I'd be interested in knowing which, if any, meditation method you recommend. This is purely for my own interest, and not for publication. PM me if you like.

Thanks,

These silly boogers actually fielded candidates for State and Federal elections over here some years ago, the idea being that "Natural Law" would make all the difference. Well, none of them were ever elected and nowadays they seem to have lost interest.
They tried it here as well, with pretty much the same results.

However, despite losing every election they stood in, it appears that they have decided to implement their policies anyway, without the democratic mandate of the British people. Bloody fascists!

Strewth, the silly boogers have totally migrated to the dark side! :D

Invincibility

They are helping countries to become invincible now too:

http www natural law-party.org.uk

"Extensive published scientific research has shown that just a small group of Yogic Flyers in a nation is sufficient to raise the collective consciousness of the whole country to a high level of coherence and integration, which is the basis for prevention-oriented, problem-free administration—and invincibility for the nation."

This is astonishing news. Time to whip out Carl Sagan's trusty Baloney Detection Kit!

I only know the TM method. It's pleasant, relaxing, mostly harmless if practiced in moderation. There is no concentration, so no headaches. That said, I don't meditate any longer. Now I'm into naps. :D Hell, I fell asleep most of the time anyway.

Thanks for that. For some reason I thought you were a regular meditator.

Oh, we had the Natural Law Party in Canada too.
The most "famous" member being magician Doug Henning.

Neil Paterson actually visited our school when I was in... umm.. junior high, I think. Too long ago! I even got him to sign one of the promotional posters they brought along. I was so proud to have my very own trophy from a high-octane nutjob. I really wish I hadn't lost it :(
