Student "Scholars" for 9/11 "Truth" Debate

I am, as it were, ready for the fight!

Say, know anything about "The LaRouche Youth Science Momement", or something like that...?

I heard about the LaRouchians, but that was a long time ago. They'd mostly died out when I was going to uni.

Cheers,
TGHO

...you wanna bet?

I've twice seen them around campus, and they seemed to be promoting some weird stuff. Only problem is that they don't seem to have a regular place or time. If I had some of that information, I wouldn't mind checking out what ideas they promote...something tells me that the 9/11 conspiracy theory would be in there somewhere...

They are still around?!?!! Holy nostrils!

See here:

I don't think they are 9/11 CTer's though.

Hmmm...well, I couldn't find any information on what the Youth Movement believes, but from the page about Lyndon LaRouche...

Wikipedia said:
He has also advocated a wide variety of conspiracy theories, such as conspiracy theories about the September 11th attacks, allegations that the British royal family are global drug dealers, that the Queen was involved in the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, and that MI6 or senior advisers to the Queen have threatened to assassinate him.

I don't see why these views wouldn't be held by the Youth Movement as well, being as it's his youth movement...

Could be that they do, I have no idea. When I encountered them, they were all about economics, and anti-privatisation and stuff. Of course, this was back in the late 80's, waaaay before 9/11 was even an idea floating around inside Bin Laden's skull.

However, they were at least clearly in favour of time-travel already back then, seeing as how the LaRouche Youth Movement only began in 1999. ;)

I know Mark would have pointed it out, but these college republican kids seemed vastly undereducated on the subject.
Suprise Suprise.

But seriously all these guys are doing is trying to make us all look like raving NeoCon republicans by debating republicans. Some of us may be but it's irrelevent, the situation of the debate itself was just an ad hominem.
