StopSylviaBrowne - Your Help With 1996 Predictions

Just posting to see how things are going. I have to say I enjoyed contributing a small bit to a larger effort for a good cause. I hope this works out to be a solid tool vs. Sylvia Claws.

Between work and family life (and fending off all of Browne's private detectives!), I haven't spent as much time on this as I would like.

Regardless, it is nearly done. it will be up on the site this weekend without fail.

RSL, any in particular that need more research done on them?
I think everyone covered it pretty well, thanks. I just need to wrap up the HEALTH section, and then write the Background, Analysis and Conclusion sections.

Then I need to write the companion article which will explain the meanings of the various ratings, the assumptions, etc.

This weekend!!

And again, thanks to everyone for all of the help.

I think the fact that you are up workin on your site at 3:30 in the morning says something about your dedication... what a minute, why I am up?

Robert,

Small typo:

Yes. but was a moratorium "imposed" on them?

The period after "Yes" should be a comma, or else the "b" in "but" should be capitalized.

Also, you may want to mention that even if we assume the four "UNKNOWN" predictions to be correct, Sylvia would still have been only 28% accurate.

Something funny I remembered.

I was in first grade when the 1996 Presidential elections were held. The teacher- Ms. or Mrs. Fredricks- held a mini election in our classroom. It wasn't who we wanted to win but who we thought would win. Everyone except for me voted for Bill Clinton. I voted for Bob Dole just because I wanted him to get at least one vote; I felt sorry for him since it was so obvious Clinton would win the whole election. :D My parents were Republicans and said bad things about Clinton at home but that wasn't really it; I just wanted to root for the underdog and do the reverse of everyone else just because it was the reverse, something I've carried into adulthood. :D

We were sitting at our desks and Ms. Fredricks had everyone stand up when she called on them and state who they were voting for. When my turn came I stood up and bravely said "Bob Dole" and everyone (including the teacher) looked at me like I had lost my mind, since it was so obvious Clinton would win. Laughter, snickers and cries of "Bob Dole?!" followed.

Clinton won about 34 to 1.

That's how obvious Sylvia Browne's Clinton prediction was: I was seven in 1996 and I knew it! Forget CNN, the first graders in Ms. Fredrick's class in P.S.152, Queens were all making the same prediction!

As a matter of fact, I think the only person in the known universe who thought Bob Dole would win the election against Bill Clinton in 1996 was, well, Bob Dole.
