I think the Shawn Hornbeck reading might be a better update on your FAQ (or at least a nice addition) under the question of "What's the harm in what she does?"

Speaking as a parent I cannot believe the emotional trauma I would go through if someone were to tell me my son was dead, only to find out several years later that he was alive and well.

Scratch that...speaking as a *human being* I can't imagine the trauma of someone telling me *anyone* I cared about was dead, and discovering later they weren't.

All I can say is, Wow!, You have done an amazing piece of work here. Between your website and your interviews, I think you are actually making a differance. I know some people who now, all of the sudden, are talking criticaly about SB who never did before.
I realized, some years ago, that for some reason people need to hear the message from the right person. I also realized I wasn't that person. You seem to have the ability to get the point across. I admire that quality.
Keep doing what you are doing. Don't allow the pressure to push you. Do it the way way you feel is right. Get your message out.
I thank you and appreciate all of you efforts.

Legally, Sean Horback's family can sue for severe emotional distress--for being wrongly informed that someone was dead when they weren't. This has some decent legal precedent. And the tape transcript Randi has in the commentary shows that she can also be sued for practicing medicine without a license. And of course she can be sued for fraud. And if Montel continues to have her on his show, he should be sued as well--because people think she's "for real" because of his show (and because of Larry King). I hope they sue the pants of this woman--she's just a skanky ole' gypsy con-woman. In the age of the internet, your hubris and lies can come back to haunt you. There's a world of vigilantes helping compile the evidence against the liars. I bet Randi can even sue her for breach of contract for agreeing to be tested, then not doing so. Of course, I'm not sure what his damages would be. But I bet you could get a pretty large class action suit against her.

Look at the clip from the Montel show - she never once mentions that what she is saying to the parents could be wrong by any degree or in any manner. Therefore unless there is footage that was not shown I doubt she could get await with using such a "disclaimer" as any form of defence. I do wonder however if it would the Montel show that could be held responsible since they are providing the "access" to her, a lot would depend on what the contracts between the Montel show and SB contain.
 
I suspect a lot of her ill-gotten gains go to smart unscrupulous lawyers who shield her from such petty annoyances as the truth coming back to bite her.

The issue for her here is that they may not be able to defend her from wide-spread bad publicity. That's not actionable! ;)

Yes, and the attention the site has gotten in the last two weeks has resulted in a number of questions which should be added to the FAQ as well. It's on my "To Do" list!

For one thing we don't know that nobody has done so in the past. I would imagine that some have considered it, but did not go through with it because of embarrassment for having bought into her nonsense in the first place, and/or the knowledge that she can afford attorneys to tie any such case up in the courts for years.

That's one of my biggest irks about these big media psychics. When they are doing a reading they never say "I could be wrong" or "I'm not sure." They are always darn sure of themselves and even place blame on the victim for not "remembering" correctly.

They only say they can't be 100% right when they are caught screwing up. And what really burns my biscuits is that admitting that they were wrong after the fact impresses their adoring fans all the more.

John Edward is pretty famous for doing almost that. Quite often he throws out a tidbit and says "I don't know what this means", in the hope of getting the mark to respond or make a connection.
