Here are a couple of nice emails I have received recently on SSB:

Mr. Lancaster,

I just wanted to let you know how appalled I was to learn the truth about Sylvia Browne.

I'm embarrassed to say I actually believed in her (I think it was bc of all the coverage

she gets from Montel Williams, who seemed to be- a trustworthy character) None of these

obvious lies where even apparent to me until I heard of what she did to that poor

Hornbeck family.. & those weren't her only victims! How sad! I'm ashamed that it took

me so long to see her for who she really is. It's ridiculous that she makes millions by

preying on innocent people. I have since now done further digging & am so grateful for

people like you who dedicate your time to researching more & stopping this evil woman.

Gosh I feel such the fool I just wanted to express my appreciation for all that you've

done so far & if ever there is anything us supporters of your site can do to help expose

her for the fraud that she is, please let us know! By the way, just a quick random

question, why weren't there any articles posted at all in 2009? Surely she was up to no

good that year as well? Just a question. Once again-- thanks for all you do. Hope you

get to feeling better. Take Care.

Mr. Lancaster.,

Hello, I am a 22 year old male and a college (recent) graduate from

[college]. I have been frequenting your site for the past 4 years, and am

writing to say how happy I am that you recovered significantly from your stroke. I do

not send emails to webmasters very often and when you had your stroke, I was worried I

might miss the chance to let you know how much your site changed my views of Browne.

Many people decide to discontinue their web sites when they experience a moderate-scale

medical crisis, let alone a massive stroke. Needless to say, I am pleased that you did

not make such a decision.

Sylvia Browne...does she even make public appearances anymore? I don't even know,

but if not, its thanks to you - and all for the better. In high school I was the silent

type who got picked on alot. I really enjoyed watching Browne provide "support" to

audience members on the Montel show. I saw what I believed to be some amazing acts of

psychic power. I even thought about scheduling a reading until I discovered that she

charged $900 bucks a pop! Good God!

Sylvia said she knew enough on you to hang you. You had your stroke a few years

after she said this. Weird huh? (joke). But now...your back. When you hang someone,

they don't come back and post new articles on their site. Your return to writing

articles proves once and for all that Browne is simply a con. As many people who write

to you say, I am now convinced of this fact once and for all. What can she do to harm

you or any of us? Less than nothing - Not anymore, at least.

I also must compliment you on your willingness, in recent articles, to admit

occasions in which you have screwed up. For example, you disclosed that even if Sylvia

had predicted your stroke, it would not be so impressive due to your health issues prior

to then. Also, when she discovered you owed money to the IRS, there's no way for her to

dig up dirt on you if you are willing to openly admit what's going on.

I think you about have Sylvia Browne taken care of. Perhaps you could move on to

other fraudulent celebrities taking advantage of individuals in bad situations. My

point is, don't stop with Browne. If there are others out there like her, you are just

the man to take them on, as well as to rally people to the cause.

If you choose to publish this article on your site, feel free. You may post it in

any way that you'd like. Keep on doing what you do. You provide more support for

individuals than any psychic!

I really don't feel I have gotten fully "back in the saddle" just yet, so it is great to read that the site continues to be helpful even without frequent updates.

I hope to create an article from these emails soon.
 
When I found your webpage was when you was ill. There was so much for me to read it took me a week. Thank you so much for your page.
 
That is so cool. How rewarding to have actually helped people not to fall for a fraud! This is really meaningful work you are doing. How nice of these people to write and let you know.
 
I re-read the second email and thought it interesting that someone might consider your return to the web site AFTER your stroke proof positive that Browne could not stop YOU after all.

It never occurred to me that people might be concerned about that.

Those are great letters, RSL! Nice to read.

Thanks, ExM! When I wrote the first article upon coming back, I thought it might show those in her office - who, i've been told, heard her saying after the stroke that I would never be on the internet again,it might show her, yet again, to be a fraud. But i had not considered that any might worry that she had indeed found enough "dirt" on me to "hang" me.

(And how refreshing to read e-mails written in decent English!)
 
Thanks Robert. I'm always looking for more updates on SSB and am glad at least to see new emails here on the JREF.

I understand you are working on other sites, have you got anything up and running I can read? I might have missed something (happens all the time for me)

Nothing up for them but the same "splash" pages which have been up since 2007. I hope to have at least one of them up by the end of August, but don't hold your breath.

I also hope to have a new ssb article or two up in that same time frame, including one with the two emails above!

Excellent RSL. I too been following your site and it has really educate me on what kind of snake Browne is.I also admire how fair and balanced you are what you write.

My eyes welled up too orph - but then, thanks to my emotional lability, they well up at just about ANYTHING. My poor psychiatrist needs to buy stock in Kleenex.
