Steve Bannon Indicted

and pay for a lawyer that specializes in appeals.

Therein lies the problem. Last July Bannon's previous legal team had to take him to court in order to force him to pay his legal fees.
The law firm of Davidoff Hutcher & Citron filed suit against Bannon in February [2023], alleging the "War Room" podcaster owed them $480,487.87 in unpaid fees for their work in numerous legal matters, including two federal criminal cases and a subpoena from the House committee that was investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.

In a ruling Friday [July 7 2023], Justice Arlene Bluth sided with the law firm, saying it had shown that Bannon "was actively seeking" their legal representation "well after the time (January 2022) that defendant allegedly told plaintiff to stop providing legal services," and that Bannon never objected to any of their invoices. This was the law firm that represented Bannon when he was indicted on criminal contempt of Congress for ignoring the subpoena from the Jan. 6 committee. This is the charge that he was convicted of and for which he has been sentenced to four months in jail. Bannon's current lawyer, Harlan Protass, has been fending off Davidoff Hutcher & Citron as Bannon has been refusing to pay the judgement.

Harlan Protass better be getting his money up front! ;)

Look out! Steve Bannon is fat! And ugly!

and, just like Trump, is being held up (by themselves and their supporters) as the archetypal version of the Alpha Male.

Just like with Hitler supposedly being an exemplar for the Arian Race, it begs the question why Right-wingers are unable to see what is right in front of their eyes.

Upton Sinclair said:
It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it.

In this case, replace "salary" with "ego", "pride", and/or "feelings"

I wouldn't take a car free from that man because it would likely be stolen.

Unfortunately, I don't think it was Bannon, but Roger Stone that I saw the quote, "If there were any justice in the world, Donald Trump would be a used-car salesman and Roger Stone would be the guy who stands in the corner in the hot dog suit and masturbates in the bathroom in the Arbys across the street during his lunchbreak."

But it could have been Bannon, so I include it in this thread.

Cult members don't believe what their lying eyes and ears tell them. They only believe what Dear Leader tells them to believe.

The way I've always imagined Stevo winding up. Despicable, ain't it? ;)

I posted this in this thread almost four years ago. I still feel the same way only it's taking longer than I figured on. :(

I had a Trump supporter claim that Trump was the most manly of men. I almost puked. What real man wears makeup? What real man uses a weird combover to hide a bald head? What real man wears heal lifts to appear taller?
