Is there any to kill these things? I have one on my computer now...

It is called pesttrap, and keeps telling me I have all these virsuses on my comp, but I have to go to their damn website to download the real thing...I cannot delete it off from my remove hardware settings, it says I must close it first, but I have no idea how it got on there and have no idea how to get it off!!!

Please help if you can,

If you had these, it wouldn't have downloaded in the first place.

They are excellent freeware. I've been using them for years.

AVG also has excellent free anti-virus and anti-spyware products.

Hmmmmmm,,, I recall several years ago, I bought a pirate copy of software on CD (from Russian mafia) and by installing the programs, I ended up with some nasty bat/viz thing.

BTW, I just noticed that my current copy of Spyware Search & Destroy has over 57,000 items to search and destroy!
