Spirit picture!

To be honest the content means nothing to me..it's more a thing of principal.

As someone who owns a site I prefer my wishes regarding that site and its material to be adhered to. Don't get me wrong, most sites if not all use material from other sources, but should I be asked to remove said material I would, and have done so in the past.

I fail to see the principle you're running on.

Apart from the basic silliness of spirit pictures, I can't get it into my head how these people expect anybody to have an opinion on a pictue when you don't know what the room is supposed to look like. Why don't they at least take a reference picture, and post it?

I own the picture and make it clear I do not wish to see it published elsewhere. The picture should then have been removed if it had already been published, if not, it should never have been posted.

ok?

Thats the problem...

You 'wish'...

You are claiming that you own exclusive, 100% rights to that photo, which i have recently seen on other sites....

You see..some sites will remove material....

Some sites want 'proof positive' that you actually have the complete rights to an item...

And that involves a lot of work...which i doubt you have the time, or the money for...

Never claim exclusive rights to anything...unless you got a lawyer to back you up...

Maybe the pic will be removed...maybe it won't...

Who knows...?

DB

( BTW...Remember where you are...this is not some 'silly' amateur, two hits per day website....)

I'm perfectly well aware of where I am DB, but sincere thnx for the concern. I would also not class my site as a two hits per day site!

phenomenon...

Did the 'ghost' give you permission to use its image...

How can presume you own the image of that ghost...

Maybe it doesn't want its image posted...

Can you tell all of us that the 'ghost' doesn't mind, and it has given you its full permission for its image to be used...and has given you 'exclusive' rights over its image...

Like i said earlier...

Until then...

Well I wish someone would take it down. Those chairs are AWFUL.

And what's up with that piece of electronics on the ugly orange chair?

That's a serious fire hazard. Maybe there'll be even more ghosts to photograph after the house burns down!

Here's another one, on the cat forum I belong to. Scroll down a few posts and you'll see it.

Lisa, it is probably not worth the bother, but I can tell you that I have plrenty of pictures with blobs/orbs like the one on the cat picture. It is due to a tiny dried-up droplet of something on the lens, and I have removed mine now. If they have used the same camera for many pictures around the house, they should have plenty of pictures with orbs. But it only shows up on dark backgrounds.

Ghost? What ghost? You seeing things....again!

May I suggest you to contact someone of the moderator team about the matter. Just hit the "Report this post to a moderator" button below the original post.

ust to clarify a moot point, after which I will post the pic on every forum I can get my hands on,I was told I could cdreate a link to the picture by the member.I wrongly assumed you needed to register to view that forum,so I c& p it! Dunno what difference it makes, the end result is the same.
Anyway I won the picture now,its on my desktop. So it must be mine.Anyone want to sue me? ;)

BTW other than SNW what sites am I banned from?

Don't tempt me John.

Now you know full well I will.Prove ownership of this photo and proof of copyright-that you took the picture-and the original negative. After that I will remove it from all the sites I have put it on.;)

If the picture is yours, where is the caption in the corner saying copyright Michael Podesta (like some of the ghost pictures on your web site have)?
(And if you are not michael Podesta, who gave you permission to use his ghost photos?)

phenomenon,

I don't really understand what the big deal is about this photo being present, especially if it's available on the Web anyway.

Is it the criticism it received here which made you so adamant about pulling it? Were we not credulous enough?
