Of COURSE it was damaged! It was involved in the global collapse of one of the freakin' tallest buildings on the planet; the idea that it might not be damaged is ludicrous beyond belief. I'd have been suspicious if it WEREN'T damaged.

I have seen two videos showing explosions seconds before the onset of the collapse of the towers (maybe it was the same North Tower but anyway). The latest was in the documentary 911 Witness I posted about previously in this thread. In that documentary they also talk about 30 feet high dust plumes coming up from the ground around the tower seconds before the start of the collapse. And they talk about several witnesses having said that they felt earthquake like tremblings seconds before the start of the collapse for each tower. Tremblings, not audible boom mind you.

Very good point. I have seen one floor snap at the start of the collapse of one of the towers. For the South Tower the collapse should start at floor 81, or maybe 80 (since the thermite would have melted the floor between 80 and 81). So yes, definitely, the collapse should for the South Tower start at floor 80-81. Didn't it? I have myself not been able to determine exactly which floor that snapped in the videos of the collapse.

I work with forklifts. 100% electric are my specialty. Everything you say is correct. This one, from my "wall of shame" collection, was from the cables shorting on the battery cover when it was closed. This happened in about 1 second with lots of white smoke (as reported by the operator).

When I was in high school I was working on my car and dropped a wrench, and as luck would have it it landed perfectly across the terminals of the battery. Within 2 seconds it was glowing bright red and then melted in half before I could knock it away with another wrench.

What I meant is that much of the steel could have been melted on floor 81 in the South Tower and they could just have omitted that fact, together with omitting facts about large pools of molten metal at Ground Zero.
