It's very simple.
You say that Allah choses who are his.
That means that Allah also choses who are not his.
That means that it is Allah's decision who is a Muslim and who is not.
So, if the decision is Allah's, why do you care what non-Muslims say about god?
Shouldn't you leave that up to Allah?
Do you speak on Allah's behalf?

But I do know what the Quran says, and I believe in it's revelations.

I believe in the Qur'an as the revealed word of Allah. Period.
I try to live my life according to the Qur'an and the teachings of Muhammad.

I'm curious to know if you think that it is currently acceptable for a man to have sex with a 12 year old bride, or do you think that this particular aspect of Muslim history is no longer relevant in the 21st century? A simple yes or on answer will suffice.
Out of curiosity, where exactly does it say in the 'Qur'an' that homosexuals should be hanged from cranes?
