Some basic questions about Bigfoot

I live in one of the wildest parts of the Lower 48. 98% of the land here is federal and there's only one small town of about 8k people. It's a large area, too, thousands of square miles.

I like wild country, and I like to explore. I'm quite often out in the middle of nowhere w/ no trails or roads. I pick a point and hike towards it. I also have an ultralight and fly over some unbelievable places.

Everywhere I go, I still find human stuff. The other day I was out in a canyon I had to bushwhack to get into, and lo and behold, a little kid's purse was hanging there on a limb. It had candy and a rock in it. Maybe a Bigfoot put it there???

People go everywhere, literally, everywhere. I was once getting ready to take a pee out in the bush, I mean way way out there, and I knew I was alone. Just before I unzipped, a man stepped out of the bushes. He was geocaching. LOL

I

How is it that they are both so rare as to be unconfirmed as an existing species but so common that they are reported in all the states excluding Hawaii?
?

That's the real trick isn't it? and it's one that footers tend to hand wave away.

"Bigfoot is elusive and mysterious, he's smarter than humans and a master of the woods, he knows when you are in his forest before you do. "

"If Bigfoot was fake, why are the 10,000 sightings on the BFRO database? huh? Mr Skeptic man?"

" Bigfoot lives only in the places that man doesn't go"

"Bigfoot knows where the game cameras are , and that they are from man ,hence bad'

"These pictures of Bigfoot are obviously real, as you can see that no person would have a reason to be in that spot"

ad infinitum

It would be an interesting experiment in folklore to try to introduce Bigfoot to Hawaii. You could start with some sightings and see how long it took before the BFRO had a category for that state.

Hawaii already has the Menehune. As with Bigfoot, nobody has been able to prove that they don't exist no matter how hard they may have tried.

I'm thinking that a story about bigfoot stowing away on ships carrying goods from Washigton or Oregon could be concocted to explain it's arrival in Hawaii. With a little effort the BFRO might arrange to film an episode of Finding Bigfoot there.

BFRO people read this stuff. They could now announce that skeptics are publicly encouraging people to tell lies about seeing Bigfoot.

I encourage it! It's no different than any of the lies perpetrated by the Bigfooters themselves. (especially those high up in the system)

Well, if BFRO films an episode there, I get a cut of the profits for the idea.

Footers can announce whatever they want. They can then go bark at the moon along with their hairy pals.

Bet skeptics would never even come close to the amount of lies they already have cataloged on the BFRO.

The way you say that suggests that you think the lies in the BFRO sighting database are mainly put there by true believers in the first place.

I would think anywhere a bear can live, a sasquatch could possibly live.
They seem to be nature's ninja.

I have to think the majority of their database if from lies and hoaxes.
The site itself is entirely based on a lie, the reason they are lies is the BFRO likes to brag about their investigators and the expertise they have with Bigfoots. But as most of us already know they are lying from the get go, cause Bigfoot is about as real as Denise Richards boobs.

"Bigfoot is about as real as Denise Richards boobs."

Looks like another Google search is in order!

You should check the copyright of this story:;)

That site's missing out by not having anything in their store - isn't that what Bigfoot's all about these days?

As for Hawaii - lots of wild pigs, so a BF paradise. but BF needs to watch out for those cheap crappy chocolate-covered macadamia nuts, they're deadly bad.

So Hawaii's the place to see Footie throw a pig?

If they could only train the Hawaiian Bigfoots to eat Brown Tree Snakes, they might be able to save the native bird populations!
