So, Who's The Democratic Candidate in 2016?

Four years ago I felt that Hillary was the weaker candidate because the Clinton name was so poisonous. Now it seems that, mostly through Hillary's efforts, the name is rehabilitated. She has gotten praise from both sides of the aisle as well as both allies and foes. I think now that if she ran, she'd win. But if I were her, I'd settle down to the laid-back but profitable life of ex-leader. It's worked well for Bill.

She also gained a loyal following during the 2008 race, and become her own woman, instead of Bill Clinton's wife. So she's already strongly positioned. Any resentment by Obama supporters should be smoothed over by virtue her being his secretary of state. I think she got it if she wants it.

It doesn't matter. In Obama's second term he will take away all our guns, make abortions mandatory, outlaw Christianity and institute Sharia law. After that no democrat has a chance of winning the White House ever again. Then the republicans will take over and restore America to the capitalist utopia our founding fathers dreamed of.

/too much?

No, you forgot to mention that no one will henceforth need birth certificates. Oh, and FEMA camps.

At the moment I am the candidate for 2016. I understand that I am not eligible due to the fact I am not a U.S. citizne but that is all according to plan.

When it comes out that I was born in another country and not only that, spent nearly 30 years there before moving to the U.S. I will be kicked off the campaign but after that I figure between Oprah, O'Reilly and the rest of the interviews, the book and movie rights, and possibly a reality or talk show, I should be able to net at least 18 to 20 million.

Alternately, they may never check on my nationality cos I'm white. :D

I actually think Maria Cantwell makes for an interesting possibility. Business background, been effective in the senate, she'd be 62 or so, which is a reasonable age.
Some day I'd love to see Jay Inslee, but I suspect that isn't particularly likely given that he's 61 now and in the House, though he's running for governor in WA.
