So when does Paul drop out?

I bet ALL of the media will be Ron Paul, Ron Paul, Ron Paul for days AFTER he loses. Then they will let the whole country know who they COULD’VE voted for if the media had let them know about him.

Maybe he should “suspend” his campaign so that the media will actually talk about him and THEN come back in to the fight?

Case in point: The Washington State Caucus is over, and just a moment ago I saw my first Ron Paul television commercial on a local station.

The theme was "Saving America"... next time don't spend so long putting on your cape, SuperRon.

According to CNN Paul is only 2 points behind McCain in Washington.

Perhaps Paul should give up his newsletter and start publishing a Comic instead called SuperRon where he fights the evil Anti-Constitutionalists.

And in 3rd place! Viva Ron Paul!

I went to the Caucus for my neighborhood. 12 people at a really nice guy's house. We cracked a bottle of Columbia Valley and bitched about how much we hated McCain being the candidate, but 4 of us decided since he was the man this time around, we might as well support him. The other 8 decided to pick the Hick as a protest candidate.

When the host asked, "Does anyone want to pick Ron Paul?" several laughed so hard that wine came out of their noses.

I suspect the votes for Paul came from houses where the host served stronger beverages than wine.

Incidently, just so you have some idea of how (uh poor) the turnout for the caucus is...

-> 1828+1580+1400 and 37% has reported in. I strongly suggest the WA primaries which will be taking plaec on the 19th will have a great deal of impact as many probably voted there via ballot.

This was my first caucus... I asked the host about the turnout (I am told the Dem Caucus for my district filled a high school gymnasium), he shrugged and said it was about twice as many attendees for our neighborhood than there was in 2000.

FYI, the Dem Primary is a 'beauty contest', in that all of the delegates are awarded by the caucuses. The Rep primary, half will be from the caucus, half will be from the primary. (I have heard conflicting reports whether or not I can vote in both the caucus and the primary).
