So what form does the resistance take?

You think they saw him apple picking and mistook him for a migrant worker? That would be Alanis worthy irony.
His 'tooth and nail unless we crave apples' reminded me of the manchildren in This Book is Full of Spiders. Not sure if it's against the rules to post screenshots of three pages of a book (@Darat ?), but you can go to Google Books, find the book, and search it for 'boys'. It starts like this:

The whole chapter is a lot of 'resistance fighters' in a nutshell. Again, not sure if Hercules56's post was just trolling or genuine (who could tell with him), but it fit that kind of attitude to a tee. "I mean, I know the country is turning into a dictatorship and there's a 7 million people protest and all, but my wife kinda needs nature today so we'll go pick apples instead. Tomorrow."

The fat clown and his maga weirdoes are so freakin' stupid, that it's not freakin' funny anymore.

Justice Department brings first terrorism case tied to its Antifa crackdown
Until the case against Evetts and Arnold was unsealed Thursday, it was unclear how federal prosecutors planned to legally define Antifa as a terrorist organization. Antifa is largely thought of as more of an ideology than an organized group, CNN has previously reported.
Prosecutors answered that question in court documents, describing Antifa as a “militant enterprise made up of networks of individuals and small groups” who have “espoused insurrection” and propose violent attacks against the US government.

I would not gainsay anyone's participation in a "no kings" demonstration, whatever other issues I have with them. Good luck there. I would, however. not be too surprised, given previous context, if said person were accidentally arrested by ICE, but being a citizen released a day or two later after only a short incommunicado bout, as many have experienced; and, after being released with neither charge nor recourse nor apology, asserting that it's evidence the system works.

In what way do think that the system works if people can be inconvenienced with brutal arrests, and prison, and there is no way of holding the arresting officers responsible, and no compensation.

Because wearing a giant frog suit and walking in the street is very threatening to mental midgets. It is taken very seriously for......

reasons.

I don't think anyone who didn't take part cares. This was all very pointless.

I don't think it was pointless.

It's given the fat clown and his maga weirdoes an excuse to blame Soros for all the death and destruction that happened.

That's sarcasm for all you dumb jackasses out there.

Not you, Trausti, them.

I agree with you. It was pointless.

What was pointless?

The rallies, the protest, all those maga weirdoes getting arrested, or just the fact that the fat clown pretended to crap on his "fellow" Americans?

That last one alone proved how stupid he is, and that was the point.

Yes, exactly. You said this had a point, but you were being sarcastic.

Nope, I was making the point that the fat clown was so stupid he made a video crapping on his "fellow" Americans.

That was the whole point of the protest. To prove how stupid he is, and it's also the reason lots of people wore ridiculous costumes and pretended to be kings too. It was all satire, and don't forget, it also got Soros in trouble.

You must've missed it, or your confirmation bias clouded your mind and wouldn't let you see it.

Oh BTW, love you anyway.

Although, like I posted earlier, Maga Weirdoes are so stupid, they could've signed up for the protest, gotten the money, and had proof that Soros (or someone) was paying them to protest.

Now, how stupid is that?

BTW, maga weirdoes, the reason why none of you could've signed up is because there was no one out there paying people to be at the "No Kings" protest (except maybe the media and LE).

I know because I tried. I'm retired, and I could've used the money, but nope, I had to go out there and protest for free.

What the hell is this country coming to when you can't get paid to protest?!

That's a rhetorical question of course.

Again, This is the point:

If you have images blocked for whatever reason, this is what it says:

For those who don't get it: Dressing as frogs takes away their narrative that the left protesting is violent. We take away their power. We use humor and highlight their absurdity. The primary goal is to mock and undermine claims made by Trump.

Context: without getting personal enough to violate terms of service and such, not realizing until just now that Hercules56 was banned as a sock puppet, I did not get too specific, but I hoped most would get the point. I most certainly do not think the system works, even a little bit. My point is that his posts evinced what might most charitably be called naif optimism about who is the victim of the administration's loathsome policies, and how the damage afflicts us all.

Of course the system does not work. The system is a growing network of secret police whose intention is to demolish what democracy we might mistakenly believe we still can salvage. And one of the ways they're doing it is to convince people like Hercules-thunder-whatever that the price of peonage is necessary to protect us from the imaginary boogeyman.

Don't mind theprestige, I expect he thinks that the no kings protests were just 7 million cargo cultusts, being meaningless.

I don't know why Fox News is so alike to Stout after the June protests:
Are we a little miffed that the inconvenient truth of the second No Kings rally was much like the first and attended by overwhelmingly oppressor class yt people? Granted some of them appear to bring their care aides along with them but a DEIfest, this rally was not.

Could you imagine if these guys actually did riot and loot? Driving their fancy SUVs to The Home Depot, barging their way in and loading up on irrigation system parts and hedge trimmers before driving back to their McMansions? Meh, who am I kidding? They have underpaid undocumented immigrants to do all that stuff for them while they sit back in their La-Z-Boys with a glass of wine and watch Matlock reruns.
