So what form does the resistance take?

What does "should not be tolerated" mean, exactly? I can think of all kinds of ideas that should probably be voted down. Replacing a democratic system with some other system of government might well be one of those ideas. Is that what you mean? It's an idea that can be advocated and even put to a vote, but should be voted down?

Or do you mean it's one of those ideas that people should not even be allowed to advocate, let alone put to a vote?

Seems to me he's blatantly asserting the Separation of Powers.

I think it's probably not the place of foreigners to tell citizens what they are obliged to do, when it comes to opposing their own government. Some things are just not your business, TGZ. This is one of them.
I guess upholding the Constitution is such a burden..

A great example for Resistance:

Scientists, librarians, archivists are all scrambling to store the data the Trump administration has ordered to be deleted.
It is weird that this 21st book burning seems to be no problem for Republicans.

Let's hope they will get everything this time - during the last Trump term some data was lost forever.

Are you sure you're not being fed something to rile you up?

from their own site:

The End of Term Web Archive captures and saves U.S. Government websites at the end of presidential administrations. The EOT has thus far preserved websites from administration changes in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020.

And given what is going on, why is armed reisitence to tyranny such an unthinkable thing?
After all, it is how the USA got started.
I think is it a last resort, and I don't think we have reached that point yet but the way things are going........
Oh yes...those who got the vapors and reached for the smelling salts when protesters against systemic racism fight back agent provocateurs are definitely going to stand in righteous support of armed resistors against an oppressive government. I bet the moment they see a gun in the hand of a non-white guy, there's going to be a great deal of wailing and gnashing of teeth from white folks and their uncle toms across the political spectrum.

The shopping blackout seemed to work. I had to buy groceries at Sam’s but there hardly seemed to be anything in anyone’s cart

Name 5 things that you did last week for the resistance, or you will be banned from this message board!

Donated to ilhan and democratic governors association. And considering donating to various news services I consider credible. Bought tickets to the Minnesota orchestra. I also to continue to make my clients happy many of whom are on public assistance

Let’s see if the country even gets that far.

Here's something that is bound to be at least as ineffective as the shopping blackout: an anti-Trump conservative summit.

Welcome to the latest iteration of the Conservative Resistance. They are angry, they are motivated, and they are altogether at a loss at what to do with those feelings. This year’s Principles First summit, it’s fifth, offered its usual blend of anti-Trump fervor and pragmatic posturing about how to reclaim a Republican Party and conservative movement with which they once comfortably identified. On the same day that Trump regaled the more boisterous crowd just across the river at CPAC with his tales of political retribution, several hundred activists and insiders gathered in downtown D.C. to make sense of their current impotence.
I'm sympathetic, as I certainly feel like a man without a party, but the people mentioned in the article do not inspire confidence that they can lead a serious movement against Trump. I mean, Chris Christie and Asa Hutchinson? And note that there have been four previous summits.

I am, or rather was, an independent voter. Then Trump and maga came along and at least for now, anyone who is anti-Trump/maga gets my support and my vote. Unless they shot someone on 5th ave, maybe. I don't think waiting for the perfect candidate or resistance movement is gonna cut it given the speed in which Trump/Musk/maga are creating chaos.
