Oh mine was memorable. Apart from the nightmare of having to be seconds away from the can and several changes of trews, they wheeled me in past a lighted display cabinet of colonoscopy equipment gear through the ages. It was like at museum exhibit of props from Alien. At that point, the doc asks "Do you want to watch it on the screen?" Hell no, put me out, I want to remember nothing.

So they did. I remember nothing.

I suspect the problem in this thread (and others) is that protagonist are basically kids. They have not the benefit of experience. It has not even crossed their minds that at some point it may become necessary to shove a mad camera up one's nethers. Or advisable, or life changing, or terminal.

I can recall many years ago when I was (our thought I was) invincible. Life has told me that I am not in any way. One does not spend days in ICU and somehow retain that nonsense. Reality does not care.

I don't know if it was accurate or if it applies to the quote in Revelation, but I once read a claim that the line elsewhere about not suffering a witch to live was actually a mistranslation of "sorceress", and that in the context it was used, it actually referred to a poisoner. So I guess it would apply to Trump after all, if you count his recommendations of toxic "medical" treatment.

I've met and worked with Stephen King, and I don't consider him insane or unduly affected by drugs. However, I agree that if you're quoting the Bible to support your political views, you probably aren't doing a good service to either religion or politics.

Vampires burning in the Sun was invented by movie makers for the 1922 film "Nosferatu". It isn't found in any traditional vampire folklore, except maybe for some Chinese variants. One country, Greece maybe, it's been a while since I read about it, even had an old expression at one time "beware the noonday vampire", or something like that. Even Bram Stoker had Dracula walking around during the day in his novel.
Maybe you meant a more modern version of vampires, and encountering scripture lets us show our sparkling wit.

Nope: read faaaaaaaaar more than my fair share of scripture as a bairn and it did nothing but convince me that it was all a load of old bollocks.

And this is where you all made the biggest blunder, God actually does exists and he does interact with those that take the time to seek him out. Probably something you lot will never experience to your loss.

The prophecies did not end with the last book of the bible, they still go on to this day. This is one from 1997, well before 911 but is starting to unfold today.
