Snowball fight becomes a stabbing death

Dunno, seems to have been plenty here the last few days.

I wonder if I should go out and arm the snowmen in the park over the road, just for their own protection

When I was a kid when people had snowball fights they would put things in them like nails and razor blades.

Cosmo Kramer had a near shave with death in the 9th season episode "The Betrayal" which started from throwing a snowball at someone.

Don't do it!

A rogue snowball started the events of Robertson Davies' Deptford Trilogy. It practically killed someone, and caused generations of half-witted high school students to moan pathetically about the books they were forced to read without figuring out how good they actually were.

Damm, you know you take snowball fights too seriously when knifework is involved! We used to simply pee on our snowballs when I was a kid... :)

I thought snowball wars were only dead serious in Quebec! Check out the 80's french Canadian movie "La Guerre des Tuques" (translated to english as "The Dog Who Stopped the War") for the ultimate snowball fight family movie ;) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087373/

I loved that movie. Those snow forts were so awesome, the kind of thing I dreamed about when I was a kid. I remember making great snow forts as kid in toronto, then we moved out to calgary and, alas, the snow fort days were basically over: the snow was too seldom and too dry to make a decent fort, though we still tried.
