I've just come across a blog that might be of interest to people here. It's related to something called the Skeptics' Circle which is...

...a biweekly carnival for bloggers who apply critical thought to questionable stories. Subjects include frequently repeated urban legends, quackery, pseudoscience, misinterpreted or denied history, analyses of misleading media, and any other articles or essays that fight misinformation with facts.

There have been three of these so far, which can be found here, here, and most recently here, with apparently more to come.

I've just been browsing through it, and there seems to be some interesting articles among the links, especially about creationism and alternative medicine.

Just bumpin' this up - I thought it was really interesting.
Neat idea to have it hosted by different people - a sort of 'travelling' round robin - in a virtual sense...

Cheers

Usage of the English language --- take notes. A "round robin" is a petition where the names are signed, not at the bottom, but around the edge (which may be cut circular) so that no-one can say who signed first. And I am an elephantine pedant.

Thank you, Dr. A.

Why is it a robin? As opposed to a sparrow or a thrush?
And why are you elephantine? My condolences! ;)
