Well, that settles it. This event is canceled.

On a related note, those people who were planning on going to Skepticamp can go to NECSS VI instead, April 11-13, 2014. I'll be at that one!

Look, Scrut, your notice that the link was broken may have been legitimate. There was an issue with that, for a little while, since it just changed hosts. But, I think you are pushing your weight around here, a little too much. You're letting all of that small amount of power get to your head, and you might be suffering from delusions of grandeur.

The event is NOT cancelled. You have no authority to say such things. And, that's the end of that!

Also: It is possible to attend BOTH SkeptiCamp NYC and NECSS VI. They take place many months apart, and SkeptiCamp is free of charge so it won't eat into your NECSS budget, if you have one. Assuming you won't need much for transportation costs for SkeptiCamp, that is.

Thirdly: You are blocking the white zone. It is supposed to be for loading and unloading of passengers ONLY. I think you've been there long enough. I haven't seen any passengers loading not unloading into your car for a long time. So, I think it's about time you move it.

There were! Sorry I didn't see this post earlier. But, we had cans of soda, chips, cookies, and Penguins (the cookies that Tim-Tams are a copy of)!
