Skeptical Gettysburg ghost investigation

Your're in Georgia; do Ghost Hunters ever do their antics at Kennesaw Mountain or Chickamauga?

Oh, yes. We've actually got a bunch of "ghost hunter" clubs and groups; TruTV even had a Ghosthunters clone about one, called "Haunting Evidence" or some such. (Dunno if it's still on the air.)

The area I live in, Roswell, has its own home-grown ghost hunter club that raises money by doing weekly ghost tours. Once in a while semi-famous "psychic" Chip Coffee joins them (though this costs extra).

Another factor - you ever drive through there at night? It's frakking creepy. The battlefield is not lit or anything, so you just see all these monuments as shadows emerging from the dark.
True. Especially on a summer night with misty fog setting in. The sharpshooter monument is my favorite but certainly creepy.

I spent 6 years living and working in Roswell GA. I worked in the little business district where you had to keep the front of the building just like it looked in the 1860's. I worked on the little side street that at the end you can walk down the large wooden staircase to the remains of the mill burned by Sherman during the war. It's a spooky place and I walked down there most days during lunch to enjoy the mill and the river. I loved that place.
