Silver Spoon Signed & Bent By Uri Geller !!!!

Time for Randi to start marketing spoons and other cutlery STRAIGHTENED by Randi after Geller bent them.

Good old Uri want's people to believe that he has some mysterious powers that bend spoons...

Guys, you too could do that, since it's all fake. (No way!?!)
Do a google on "Psychokinetic Silverware with Gerry and Banachek DVD" or check out

I am thinking of buying this DVD after my vacation and learn it. Could be a real good way of freaking people out...which I intend to do...

Dennis, if a spoon turned up in your mailbox from Uri and it was bent, what guarantee is there that Uri used his "psychic powers" to bend it before he mailed it? For all you know, he could have used a bench-vice and a big wooden mallet. There's few items of cutlery will stand up to THAT kind of assault!

There is of course no guarantee at all since Uri cheats like everyone else bending spoons. There is no "powers" involved and that was basically my point in my post.

If the effect freaks people out and I can learn it, why not?
But that does not make me a genuine "Spoon-bending" believer, does it?

Silver spoon. Cripes. If it's pure silver, it would be nearly impossible to not to bend it through ordinary handling. Funny how Geller always bends the thinnest part of the handle, right in the middle--he never bends or flattens the bowl, or bends the handle just 1/8" (3mm) from the tip. I'd like to see him bend a 3/8" tungsten-carbide drill bit.

Uri(ne) is a piker!

I think that in one of the Commentaries, we were told that Geller also bends door keys. These are very difficult to bend without a tool, but then we also know that Geller took the key to the bathroom in the hope that he could employ the tap spout to bend the key.

Is that true though? I think that after practice someone could learn how to bend keys physically quite easily.

And it is reputed that some can open bottles with their eyebrows!

When I look at Geller, he does not strike me as the muscular type. But then, I am also stronger than I look ;)

Not true - they are fairly easy to bend if you have a solid surface to work against. In fact, if you put a Yale key into a lock, most grown men can bend the head sufficiently to break it right off the key (don't try this in you own front door! :) ).

Chairs legs, little metal gadgets, lots of things can be used to get that little extra bit of leverage.

This gadget lets you bend coins

In Randi's book "The Truth about Uri Geller", he mentions an unusually chunky belt buckle which Geller used to wear, and which may have been used for such stunts.

Where the f... are the likes of Geller when you need them?

A few weeks ago, my ignition lock broke just as I was trying to start my car. Bugger! It must have been due to some negative thought I've had about spoon-benders at some point in time, and now they were just getting their own back. Had Uri been there I could have apologized and he could have fixed my key and ignition lock, I'm sure...

You would yourself be a "Geller's like"... if you took the trouble to study the noble technique of spoon-bending.

Might be a profitable business.

Wait! A prediction is coming to me......................
This spoon will not make £300! Or if it does the person who buys it is a total fool...................

The item has been relisted:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2253191425

The minimun bid is now set at $63.92, down from the original asking price of $547.89... Still no bites though.

I'm actually quite impressed... this guy seems to have conceded to reality much quicker than your average fawning Geller fan.
