Probably. Do you still maintain that the data supports your original contention?

But you apparently have no problem with them actually flying the plane????

That's not what he said at all.

That would not be what I said. I'm not fond of them flying when under the influence either, that is scary enough. Giving them a gun just adds to things that can go wrong.

For you to have attributed that to me out of the blue should be your only regret for getting back into this.

Bumped for shanek:

Do you still maintain that the data supports your original contention?

What happens if a team of hijackers -fully armed- are aboard a plane? What then? Do the armed passengers just take them all out?

PseudoSkeptic,

Apparently you will take them out!

Never miss a chance to "get back" at me, eh?

Why don't you spend your time actually engaging in a debate? You know, bring something to the table yourself?

Or is that me being a "primadonna"?

Yes, because it clearly does.

Well, unarmed passengers took out a team of hijackers armed with boxcutters on 9/11. So I really don't see what point you think you're making here.

Idiot.

No, really. You are an idiot.

The difference is that you can kill from a distance with a gun. So, a gun would be far more detrimental.

Try again.

Such a cogent rebuttal...

Explain, if you can, how that makes the two situations appreciably different.

You can whine all you like, but you really are an idiot. Your own data proves you wrong, you idiot!

Do you enjoy being whupped in public? Because I really can't find any other explanation.

If you want to argue that knives are as dangerous as guns, feel free to do it here.

That ordinary citizens used to be allowed to take loaded(?) guns on airplanes is bizarre to me. Was there any criteria, such as a permit to carry a concealed weapon?

So, you can't, then...

Not that I'm aware of.

You said you'd take on the person with the gun on the plane.

Yes, I know it sounds stupid...

He can feel free to do it anywhere he likes, as you don't pull any weight on this board, despite your probable belief that you do...

In closing...

And more bully posturing..

"Allowed"? Do you now decide what the rules are here, T'ai?

If you think I am breaking the rules, report me to the mods.

More posturing from the PseudoSkeptic..

I didn't say I thought you did. I'm just pointing out your're being a bully.

See folks, as long as he doesn't technically break the rules, any action he does, no matter how questionable, he considers OK. What morals...
