Presumably the statement that far more coal, oil and natural gas has been burned during this interglacial than in any previous is not contentious. So we're left with the unusual nature of the current climate event. The scientific consensus is that the current event is unusual. If you're not convinced, what would it take to convince you?The statements leading to the question have not been established.
To answer my own question, I don't think it's a great leap to connect the two.
