Sharing rooms at TAM7

 Yes, I misunderstood - my apologies, The Central Scrutinizer. I had heard the song, but never seen the movie, so had no idea about the character name. Thus, given that I was already feeling bad over having to put qualifiers on my gratitude to Silly Green Monkey, and the post in question quoted that exact bit, what I figured was that the meaning had to be along the lines of "cry me a river, and quit being such a primadonna." Hence my response. Teach me to assume.

Conadera, thanks - will send you an e-mail shortly.

Greetings thinklings,

I have registered for TAM and will be attending. However, this time around I'm going solo. I'd be open to splitting a room with someone.

I'm willing to pay half the cost of the room and taxes if you would be willing to give me a place to sleep, and recharge my computer.

I'm 37, M, Non-Smoker, no drugs. Clean, respectful, quiet.

I'm the Executive Producer of The Skeptologists, which you may or may not have heard of, so as far as knowing who I am, my life's an open book. ha ha.

I'm a weekly contributor of SkepticBlog.org and good friends with most of the presenters this year. Last year we previewed my Pilot for the TV show during TAM. This year, we're hoping to be able to be able to give a great update on the show status.

Please let me know if you are interested, or if you have any questions.

Thanks!

A bit last minute...

I'm planning to come to TAM. I know it's last minute, but...does anybody want to rent out some floor space?

I'm a quiet, peaceful 32 year old male. I will be driving up from San Jose, so I will have a car available in case that helps anybody out.

I haven't decided which days I will be there. Longer is better.

Anybody in the Bay Area need a ride to TAM? I'll post elsewhere, in case anybody else is as last-minute as I am.

Hi All, my brother-in-law will be attending TAM this year (his first) and is looking for a room to share. Unfortunately there has been some issue opening his Forum account (admins are working on it) so I'm posting this in his stead.

He is a great guy in his mid-thirties. If you'd like me to put you in touch with him just PM me.

Thanks.

Hey, I'm looking for a roomie (or roomies) to cut hotel costs for the evenings of July 9-12 (departing on Monday the 13th). Anyone already have a room reservation and is in need or want of a (another) roommate?

For what it's worth, I'm a 35 year old nonsmoking, straight, occasionally goofy male seeking anybody dependable (who won't stick ruffies in my Dr Pepper or stiff me on the hotel bill).

In the meantime, is there any harm in setting up reservations through a service like Priceline and canceling if I do find a roommate?

I figured as a newbie I should probably just make reservations myself and did so (through CheapTickets.com). I got a room with two queen beds and figure I could either make one badass fort with them or get a roommate.

Anyone not get a room yet or already have arrangements to sleep on the floor but would prefer their own bed? Let me know! I am looking for a nonsmoker who doesn't snore. Male, female, gay, straight, human, alien, doesn't matter, as long as you come in peace.

A forewarning, though. I will arrive LATE Thursday evening at South Point (approximately 11pm-12am)
