Every person in America who owns a gun for the purpose of "self-defence" has the explicit intention to kill a human with it, should they feel that the the need arises.Kindly give some examples of how guns available to civilians were designed to kill humans.
Most guns are not designed to kill indiscriminately.Guns are designed to kill. Indiscriminately. They will kill a human as readily as any other creature. Most gun owning US civilians have only one target in mind when they acquire a gun. A target that walks on two legs.
100% baseless speculation.Every person in America who owns a gun for the purpose of "self-defence" has the explicit intention to kill a human with it, should they feel that the the need arises.
Clearly you are a secret Christian missionary. You've no idea how much restraint I had to exercise to not say that guns were invented by the Turks.
they are famous for bringing them to Europe. You've no idea how much restraint I had to exercise to not say that guns were invented by the Turks.
What, are you suggesting that you won't use your gun in self-defence if you feel that it is necessary? That if you have a gun on your person (CCW I guess) and you feel like your life is in danger, you won't use your gun to kill the person threatening you?100% baseless speculation.
Could be classified as hate speech if your local authorities care about that sort of thing.I probably saw the worst thing yet among my MAGA redneck neighbors today. A truck with a sticker on the rear window with block letters that said LGBTQ. Below those letters were various white silhouettes of various automatic weapons and a bullseye arranged similar to the Coexist silhouette with the various religious symbols like a Christian cross, the Islamic crescent, etc. The meaning of this sticker was clear. It was a threat at LGBTQ people.
In this town the police would probably share his sentiment. And this being the US, even hate speech is given the benefit of the doubt. Unless you make a deliberate threat they will ignore it.Could be classified as hate speech if your local authorities care about that sort of thing.
It looks to me like the are making a deliberate threat. In this town the police would probably share his sentiment. And this being the US, even hate speech is given the benefit of the doubt. Unless you make a deliberate threat they will ignore it.
The right to free speech is more often protected unless the threat is specific. Saying gays should be killed probably wouldn't qualify. Let alone a sticker that hints at saying the same thing would likely ruled as protected speech. You likely would have say you are going to kill gays for them to take it seriously. It looks to me like the are making a deliberate threat.
I would interpret that sticker in exactly such a way. Either I am going to kill gays, or I am encouraging others to kill gays. The right to free speech is more often protected unless the threat is specific. Interesting. My brother has several guns. I must ask him about that, because from my own experience with guns I didn't see any mechanism on them that discriminated between targets. Most guns are not designed to kill indiscriminately.
The bullets only emerge from one end: this enables the user to select a particular target each time they operate the device. The bullets do not emerge at random times in random directions unless there is a serious malfunction.Interesting. My brother has several guns. And like in the 1990's raping a 14 year old sex slave girl was just normal behavior and should not be viewed as a mark against Jefferson or Trump.I wouldn't say that by our standards they were terrible men. It is far more complicated than that. Take Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. They were very different and very much alike. Great friends and great enemies. From opposing political parties. Both terrible in their way. Both insanely smart. Adams was pompous, highly religious. Very committed and in love with his wife Abigail. Jefferson a deist, essentially an atheist. Jefferson was a ladies man and a slave holder.
The US were lucky to have them as early leaders. Neither of which however, were delegates to the Constitutional Convention.
It is a harmless political opinion in the US though. That would be like being against Charlie Kirk for his desire to kill all homosexuals, that kind of mainstream position is not something the local authorities will care about. Now speaking out about someone for their call to kill all homosexuals will get you fired in the US.Could be classified as hate speech if your local authorities care about that sort of thing.
Well the military seems to have found a handgun that at least goes off at random times. Why couldn't they find a normal decent gun that does not do that, or more likely is this a common issue with firearms that gets ignored when it does not kill service people. The bullets only emerge from one end: this enables the user to select a particular target each time they operate the device.
