The citidel is a specialized state school with no all female equivelent.

Wells seems to be a private run of the mill college. They shoudl look at it this way, the football team is bound to improve!

The restroom thing is based on cultural concepts of modesty, not cultural concepts of inequality.

And safety. At many colleges, the women's bathrooms in dorms have keypad locks on them, while the men's do not.

I suppose there's some lawyer out there slobbering, waiting for some guy to get attacked in a men's bathroom, so he can sue for not having locks on them, too. See, the women's do! Give me, er, my client money!

Ironically enough the first computer programmers were women.

Actually, the first computers were women. Computer was a term to describe a person who did calculations. Women were traditionally in this field.
