Note, that "day" in both cases is yo-vm.

So Genesis has clearly defined "day" as the period on Earth between the darkness, so the six days are clearly identified as six periods of light on the earth followed by darkness, in other words six literal Earth days - 144 hours.

Also, nothing in 14-16 indicates that these great lights were already there, and that they became visible from Earth. In fact 16 says that God "made" (vai·ya·'as) the great lights, a greater one for the day, a lesser one for the night.

And of course the vegetation was already in place by this time.

This is quite an astonishing piece of literature for a bunch of primitive goat-herders, but nothing here indicates a knowledge of science beyond what might have been expected at the time.

From my calculations, it would require 2.5 billion km3 of water (that's in addition to the 1.4 billion km3 available on Earth) to cover mount Ararat.

So if you so vigorously dismiss "the dome" and thus "the windows of the heaven", where did that water come from, and where did it go?

The Australian aborigines believe that in dreamtime, many beings awoke and broke through the surface of the world, and then set about creating mountains/lakes/rivers etc in their own ways.

The river close to me (the Swan River) was created by the Wagyl, a big snake.

These myths predate your own by many thousands of years. Why don't you study them and learn the truth?

It does make sense with my way of thinking and kinda backs it up on how a computer(god) was put together with computer parts(holy spirit), operating system(jesus) and programs(life) first come to be.

A book i was given a few years back and the dates stuck with me ever since, it was released on the year i was born, after 7 years of it taking place. Given i want to believe it happened and the feeling i got from the book as well as events that happened through the course of reading it. (flashing lamp light only when i picked this book up, mind you i haven't read the others apart from Spiritual warfare at a different house with no lamp)

You can't be threatened directly by a work of fiction,but you can be threatened by some of the nutters who believe it,history shows us that.

Genesis 1:1. Remember my commentary which concluded that the language in the Bible makes it clear that the creation was complete. The language indicates completed action.

Then the first creative "day" or period begins.

I believe the day of rest is actually the period of time in which man will have matured and fulfilled God's purpose for them. So Jesus would have actually come by then, not in a physical sense. All of the ugliness would be behind those who would have survived Satan's present system of things.
