It shortens long url's to fit onto the video screen. Anyone who went to any of the references linked (which proves that they didn't! Yay for CT'ers) would see that it just redirected them to the site with a longer url.

It's a thing that generates a smaller url so people won't have to repeat large urls. The smaller url redirects to the larger one.

When I searched google video for "screw loose change" this is what I got:

Which is a 51 second joke (I'm sure the person who uploaded it didn't mean for it to be funny but I got a chuckle out it). The gist of it is summed up at the 19 second mark:

Not only that, he got the physics wrong. Of course, his source for the time is wrong, too. Otherwise the building's falling faster than free-fall.
It's apparent he's measuring the debris descent time rather than the buildings, but he's using the building's roof height for the calculations. It's obvious he's got everything flat-out wrong.
