I stated I liked it personally, and then attempted to explain why it was prevalent in the market, not because I like it, but because that's the reality of the market. Take it or leave it, I'll leave your thread alone ok .

OK. A quick straw poll among friends (hmm, i originally had pole. Like SCO is trying to whack IBM with a 10' straw pole) says that SCO's suit is laughable, and trying to FUD IBM is analagous to teaching your grandmother to suck eggs.

This poll has no legal basis, but courts in america are notoriously stupid (quick? How many people didn't know that McDonald's coffee was hot? How many people thought of Spike Lee when they heard TNN was changing its name to Spike?), so maybe they're just trying a long shot.

As I said earlier, I do not think its SCO wanting to be bought out by IBM, its Microsoft influence as they have bought the licences to use unix code in windows (like they haven't been ripping off linux and then calling it closed for years)
