Recently on a forum I frequent, you've been mentioned[ <-this word was a link to this thread], about an interview that took place over two years ago.
I hate listening to that one, still surprised it gets so much attention.
All of us here who consider ourselves skeptics, the movement which started in the 70's, are cheering you on, buddy.
Thank you, Jref means a lot to me and Randi has been one of my big inspirations. Had the luck to meet him once in Norway many years ago which was very cool.
You probably receive emails like this plenty of times, but I still felt motivated to tell you I consider you a champion on this issue for the facts and honesty you present.
My suggestion, a question: why do you not pay someone, or start a donation charity, to contract personal web page designers to make your website as professional as possible? I understand that your content speaks for itself, but sadly many people in our society do indeed judge a book by its cover. I think any sort of spin-esque flak you get for the asthetic upgrade would be worth it.
I agree my site is overdue for a cleanup and redesign. I have it planned, hopefully during 2007. Since I have had to be prepared to move the site and have multiple mirrors I have based it on hardcoded HTML. Since it seems like the cult has given up closing me down I am considering moving to PHP and a better publishing tool. It is a lot of work to maintain this old structure.
But I don't want to mix money into this. I've deliberately only spent only my own money so far to avoid being accused of doing this for the money.
A professional, educationally-appearing site really will aid people who get their opinions mostly from their friends, and who are almost always superficial about their choices regarding issues such as these.
I agree.
Anyway, I give you the best of regards, and hope very much that one day you'll find yourself looking at a the fruit of your work, as the Church of Scientology becomes finally, lawfully responsible for their unethical, charlatan behavior.
Thank you for your kind words and support, it means more than you can ever imagine.
