Scientists and Engineers for America

Too late. The US is now entering into it's post industrial agrarian society. If you want something hi-tech - better start looking across the Pacific ocean.

And no I'm not being cute. Just ask some of the current and ex-Intel employees what they think about the future of hi-tech in the USA.

I love science.

Problem is, when science meets politics, science goes to pot.

No. I'm more against mixing politics and science than I am mixing politics and religion.

What the hell are they saying which is so controversial? Maybe there's some part of the website I'm missing, and please quote whatever controversial parts of the website you can find if that is the case.

Furthermore, it seems that they support keeping politics and science seperate, in the sense of politics effecting science, at least. Looking at the Scientific Bill of Rights, they're just saying that government should leave science free to do their thing, and then government can make informed decisions based on what science produces. I cannot see anything wrong with that, nor does it seem that controversial. Restricting science is just plain unfree, and the government making uninformed decisions is outright stupid.

Nothing. They are saying nothing at all.
