Sarkozy, Merkel, Blair calling for "new global order"

Of course, they really mean a "new capitalism," but stuff like this is likely to give the NWO IS COMING LOL! crowd more fuel (at least to keep on complaining about it).

(AP) PARIS – The head of Europe's biggest economy said Thursday that world leaders should be looking at the massive U.S. deficit and other economic imbalances, not just problems caused by financial markets, as they debate a new global order.


Speaking at a conference in Paris on the future of capitalism, German Chancellor Angela Merkel singled out the American budget deficit and China's current account surplus — the difference between exports and imports — as problems upsetting the global economy.


"We would be making an error if we were content to look solely at financial markets," she said.

Also, enjoy a call for more socialism/government intervention into capitalism and markets:

"In capitalism of the 21st century, there is room for the state," he said.

Governments around the world have had to step in to rescue credit-starved banks and financial institutions from collapse. They are also pumping billions of euros into their economies to encourage growth.


Measures will be taken by global leaders meeting in London on April 2, Sarkozy promised, urging the U.S. to join the international consensus.

So what would this now qualify as - a call for a true, all-powerful, tyrannical, 9-11-causing NWO that assimilates all nations into itself and controls all (like the Borg), or merely a call for an economic NWO, which subjects all free markets to greater levels of government intervention and regulation, thereby controlling all of TEH MONEEZ? It's obviously TEH CONSPIRACEEZ!@

What say you? I say "no surprises here." They're EU members - of course they want a "world union" that would include obligations (read:economic) from the US. Nothing really surprising here.

You would think that politicians would have found out that the Original "New Order" --the one from 1933 to 1945 in Germany..sort of poisoned that term for a few centuries.
The content itself is just standard political rhetoric, so broad that anybody can read just about anything into it, but you think big time leaders would have gotten that any Term with the words "New" and "Order" is a no no.

I have always been fascinated how CTs can take the use of the term "new world order" and turn it into some material, diabolical cabal intent on world domination.

There entire basis of "proof" is that politicians have uttered the phrase...which, as has already been pointed out, is nothing more than sound bite material and political rhetoric.

It takes a certain level of stupidity to take political rhetoric and turn it into a ultra-evil cabal of slave masters insistent on enslaving mankind (for reasons no one knows of).

Sadly there is a market for just that. AJ has made a killing off of skimming the headlines for that one phrase he can turn into the latest "hint". I question whether he even reads the articles his site post. Maybe one of those "bright" guys that work for him created a bot that just combs the net for key words and this is where he gets most of his material. If his listeners would do 10 minutes worth of research on him they would learn just how important the crumbling dollar is to he and his wife.

There are a lot of people calling for a One World Government.

A lot of people consider Sarkozy (and probably as well as Blair, and Merkel) to be Neocon in philosophy and political orientation.

Neocons generally do tend to be in favor of one world government which does bring cause for concern.

A one world government is extremely dangerous in the fact that it would put too much power in the hands of one group, there would be no checks and balances from other nations (as there would be no other nations), such a government would almost certainly need to accumulate a disturbing amount of power to effectively enforce global policies and should it become corrupt, there would be no way of stopping it, and nowhere to run.
