Barack Obama is a complete and utter imbecile. If we listed all of the people on your list and mine in order, with the biggest imbecile on the time, Barack Obama should be at the top of the list.

That's Palin's biggest line of attack and the thing that most resonates with her supporters. That's also why there is such palpable anger at officeholders of both parties, from their own party members, but there is even more anger within conservative groups at the Republican party for espousing smaller, less intrusive government and failing to deliver it when they had the chance. Newt Gingrich, for example, probably has policy positions pretty close to Palin's, but for Palin's supporters, he's not one of them, he's one of the political elites.

I've noticed that involved liberals tend to lock onto where she's from, but the relatively independent people I knew walked away from the 08 election with only a mild dislike for her.

Of course, that statement in and of itself suggests she shouldn't run for office.

So, in your opinion, the whole image of Palin as "unqualified" is an MSM construct borne of deep-seated elitism and liberal bias? There's no factual connection between this perception and say (to take the most recent of many examples) needing crib notes to remember simple slogans?

The popolation of the state senate district that Obama represented for 7 years was approcimately 211,000. about 35% of the total population of Alaksa.

You said she writes her own material. She obviously doesn't. No modern politician writes all their own material 100% and this is doubly true for presidents.

Just ask Pat Buchanan.

Anyway, this all stemmed from a pretty weak misdirection on the point that writing such slogans on one's hand, as if they're tough to remember, is (to pick a phrase that's hot right now) kinda retarded -> to something about teleprompters and Obama not writing everything he says.
