Multiple Trump ass-kissers have made it clear they were leaving in a certain timeframe and then didn't until it became expeditious for the Orange Clown to have a story to bury.

The news here is "Just What Is It That Donnie Hopes His Minions Won't See?"

I thought that's because the administration simply didn't want them.

I've seen nothing to suggest that she even thinks she's lying, much less that she's sick of it.
 
I guess her next step is to have a book ghost written for her, then she can go on the media circuit for a while.
 
The pattern is for everyone not with a great job offering to join the Trump Campaign right after leaving the WH - for the NDA.

I'm curious to see if Sanders will or won't.
 
She hasn't held a press conference in months. What is she even quitting from? The job she already stopped doing?

Hell I'm quitting from being the CEO of Microsoft to the same degree Sarah Saunders is quitting from being White House Press Secretary.
 
Wouldn't it be great if she wrote a truthful tell-all book?

Then The PDJT could say, "I never liked her. She lies all the time. I barely knew her."

My theory is that perhaps she just got fed up with Trump ignoring whatever public relations advice she offered to him. "President Trump remember how we discussed you might want to publicly tone down just how eager you are to accept Russia support in the next election? I had some new ideas about how to avoid that. What? You already said what? Oh crap!"

Also just imagine the stress of waking up every day and having to defend whatever Trump tweeted the prior night. Whatever he tweeted!

But IMO she deserved the suffering. An absolutely immoral nasty person!
 
To oversimplify it a bit there are different kinds of liars, and it's not hard to imagine one kind of liar getting as frustrated with another kind of liar as someone who told the truth.
 
Sanders is one of the very last Trump-Whisperers, someone Trump actually trusts won't backstab him.
Conway, with her cheeky husband, is suspect at best.
And Giuliani has already said he will quit soon.

In other words, Trump is more isolated than ever before.
Not good.

I can't see anyone (even a Trump sycophant like Tom Cotton) abandoning a relatively safe senate seat in order to join the Trump cabinet, where turnover is so rapid. Coton could join the Trump administration and then either be out of a job before the end of year, or see Trump go down to defeat.
 
The real question is: who's next?

It will have to be someone with an independent income, because the position will only be "acting", just like the majority of his administrative positions. They could be out on the street again in days - just ask The Mooch!

Or better question: Since there has been no press briefing in over 90 days anyway and Donny prefers government-by-tweet, will the position be filled at all?
 
I have a question: Exactly what job is she quitting from? No presser for 94 days. And media relations is pretty much all the job entailed. Was she just goofing off the last three months? Perhaps she deserved to be fired for not doing her job at all rather than be allowed resign with a fond farewell.
