It's clear that Limbaugh here was being sarcastic -- i.e., showing the hypocricy in the attacks on him as a "racist" that were somehow OK because "we know he thinks it". But that clearly doesn't excuse him falling for such a hoax.

Beck ,maybe. You have to wonder if the more strident tone Limbaugh has adapted in the past few months is his attempt to beat Beck at his own game.
But I have a feeling Beck is going to be a rocket..goes up fast, comes down faster. I think with his rolling out a new book once every three months (or rather, his ghost writers doing so) and all the DVD's and personal appreances, he is going to simply overexpose himself,and people will get sick of him.
As for Fred Koch, he is not even on the radar.

Indeed staying power is the factor there. We shall see.

Indeed. But then check out who he funds. In particular he funds FreedomWorks who got the teabag mob off the ground in the first place.

Maybe he fell for it because Obama has said similar things in the past?



And that's not from Obama's college years but from 2001.

But Koch has no chance of becoming a Media figure like Limbaugh or Beck or Hannity. And that is what we are talking about.
