RSL in hospital

Thanks for the wonderful news Susan!
I had written something similar in my blog about how everyone should be praying for Robert whether they agree with him or not because like his causes or not, everyone likes Robert!!
I also wrote that if Sylvia is breathing a sigh of relief she ought to think again because no one would ever let the fight let up out of adoration and respect for Robert!!

Now I hope you take some time to rest, Susan. I remember when I had my heart attack my husband didn't sleep for 3 days before he finally fell asleep next to me in the ICU.
I know it's hard but the future is bright...I speak from experience!!

Oh, Susan, hooray!! That really is SO great to hear! Now we just wait for him to wake up. Thanks so much for the update. The part about Sylvia et al made me laugh - Susan, you have a way with words, just like RSL. I can just imagine Sylvia in her office this morning, frantically trying to call off the dark forces, scrambling to reverse the voo doo spells....
 
Thanks for updating us, Better Half! Robert will still be Robert-- fantastic news indeed! We will be expecting a full report of his experiences from beginning to end in the genteel prose we've come to know and love as soon as he is able. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

It's wonderful seeing that through such trying times you're retaining your sense of humor. That will serve Robert well through his recovery. And thank you for the updates. It means so much to those of us who respect and admire Robert that you would take any time away from him to let us know how he's doing. My prayers continue for both of you.

Oh, that is such great news!

Weeks to months of rehab may feel like a long haul, but that's actually an excellent prognosis. And there's no question that sheer strength of will contributes a lot to success in rehab, so I have no doubt he'll do very well.

Not that I plan to stop worrying completely until I hear that he's ready to be discharged from the hospital, but still...

Hooray!

If the chief woo-wooers thought that RSL was hard on their cases before? Hoo boy. I pity the fools a few months hence. RSL took an unexpected and temporary off-ramp but up ahead is a BIG interchange approaching. RSL is headed directly at it and soon he'll be ready to hammer down, and re-access the superhighway. You know this is coming, "psychic" woo-wooers. Best advice? EXIT NOW, before RSL blows your doors off!

Do I have your attention? Well, for the first time we have a better understanding of what's been going on, what is to come in the immediate future, and what we have to look forward to. One of the doctors began at the beginning and went all the way into his prognosis. Finally.

The slight difference between the first and second cat scans was not a bad turn. It actually meant there was "no change." The millimeter more blood that showed up in the second was seepage from the original bleed, not new bleeding. The third cat scan done today shows "no change" again. This isn't necessarily bad news. It means there has been no further bleeding, which is good news. Everything he's going through is "expected."

The doctor says Robert will be in the hospital for weeks. The doctor expects him to wake up next week - the week after at the latest. He'll likely be in rehab weeks to months. BUT THEN HE WILL COME HOME!!!!!!

You know, the only downside to this is now Peggy's going to be nudging me in the ribs, saying, "See, there IS a God!" This is an answer to her prayers, and a thrill for me.

Oh, and just for the forementioned scammers: As you're cheering your "good fortune," remember that this has energized this community. Robert might be down, but he ain't out, and if anything, it's going to create a desire to honor our friend by providing more and more information about you, and what you are doing to your victims.

One man with courage makes a majority.
