I had to stop taking it. Not only would it string me out, it gave me both wood and wind.
I bow before the master. Your pun fu is strong indeed.

Must...resist...urge...to...gloat...When Jason Leopold's article came out in truthout.org, I was going to come over here and post about it. But then I thought to hold off until the story got a little corroboration. Oh well... The best thread I never started.
Here it is, more cementatious concretions from Jocko...
Boom.
repeat?Boom.
I think Zakur started a thread on that article, but I have noticed that any web site w/ "truth" in its name contains nothing of the sort. When Jason Leopold's article came out in truthout.org, I was going to come over here and post about it. What everyone conveniently now seems to be forgetting about this case is that while it has been stated that Rove did leak Valerie Plame's name as an agent of the CIA, it was found by the special prosecutor that no crime was comitted. We need to look at the ramifications of this finding carefully.
Plame worked in so-called "deep cover" -- for a CIA front company. All her friends, neighbors and relatives believed she worked for this company.
So did all the friends, neighbors and relatives of this company's other employees who were also CIA agents. Not only did this leak blow Plame's cover, it blew ALL their covers. Some of these agents may've been put in jeopardy because of this if they were in the field. Others may've had to abort operations because of this.
If any ordinary citizen leaked this information to the press, they'd be looking at a life sentence or damn well near it.
According to Joe Wilson himself (in his 60 Minutes interview with Ed Bradley), her parents and brother already knew she was CIA.What everyone conveniently now seems to be forgetting about this case is that while it has been stated that Rove did leak Valerie Plame's name as an agent of the CIA, it was found by the special prosecutor that no crime was comitted. iirc, this front company (Brewster Jennings & Associates) listed Plame as the sole employee. So did all the friends, neighbors and relatives of this company's other employees who were also CIA agents. Not only did this leak blow Plame's cover, it blew ALL their covers. Some of these agents may've been put in jeopardy because of this if they were in the field. Under what statutes would that occur? The Espionage Act specifically covers "Covert Agents" and has a very specific definition of what qualifies as a covert agent. After Plame married Wilson she quickly got pregnant and never took another trip overseas as a CIA operative within the required 5 years. Plame was not a covert agent so it doesn't really matter. And as has already been mentioned, she drove into work to Langley every day. What kind of supa-dupa undercover secret CIA agent plainly drives into CIA headquarters every working day of the week?If any ordinary citizen leaked this information to the press, they'd be looking at a life sentence or damn well near it.
