Romney, Obama, Rasmussen

Where's our daily post from applecorped? Huh. I guess I'll have to do the job.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows President Obama attracting support from 50% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns 45% of the vote. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided.

:D You're welcome.

What a kind person you are!

I think you are pulling that out of your nether regions. Show us your numerical analysis.
You're the one that posts from realclearpolitics.com. You don't know how to move your cursor over the chart below the main one to the date before the convention and see the result?

Yeah, but Minnesota has been solid blue since the beginning of this presidential election cycle. What's it like in Wisconsin?

There's (at least) a couple resources where you can check the latest polls from any given state:

(and click on the state you want to see)
Right now the average of polls in Wisconsin is a 1.8% lead for Obama, but these are all pre-convention polls, so if Obama got a post-convention bounce in Wisconsin, it wouldn't be reflected there yet.

Look on the right hand side. If you let your mouse pointer hover over any state, it will give you what Nate Silver's model calculates as the percent chance that one or the other candidate will win that state. For Wisconsin, the current odds are 84% that Obama will win Wisconsin. Because this is based on a model, it may factor in the national post-convention bounce even if there aren't any recent new polls there.

Sarah Palin advises Romney how to beat Obama (and she would know how to do that, wouldn't she?):

Palin: Romney Needs To Get 'Severely Aggressive' On Obama

On the ‘Factor’, O’Reilly spoke with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin about the future of the GOP and the chances the party has in the upcoming presidential election. O’Reilly highlighted the recent statement made by Laura Ingraham saying 'If you can't beat Obama with this record, then shut down the party'.

Palin agreed with the statement and called for Mitt Romney to get 'severely aggressive' on President Obama’s record.

Yes! Use your aggressive feelings, Mitt. Let the hate flow through you!

Holy crapballs! :jaw-dropp

I haven't checked the prediction markets in some time, but now it looks as if Romney is going down in flames...

IEM
Obama 66.6%
Romney 34.0%

Intrade
Obama 64.9%
Romney 35.1%

Nothing really much different at IEM, but over the last few weeks Romney hasn't been doing as bad over at Intrade. But in the days since his moronic and douche-baggy comments over the Libyan 9/11 attack, I think he has rather thoroughly screwed himself. This is reflected by the fact that his Intrade numbers have tanked since Tuesday.

Rasmussen cannot fail. It can only be failed.
Good thing that they are one of the most accurate pollsters out there.

Oh and Nate Silver's "Obama +10" is a huge fail. All the polls on RCP now reflect the convention or post convention. BO peaked out at 3.6 and now is down to 3.2
