Ed Rob Menard's FOTL Claims

I just had a bit more of a look round and it's even more stupid than it appears:

"ACCP provides a solution so that no member will have to live without electricity, heat, water, food and basic clothing" and "ACCP serves to improve all Canadian life by providing an affordable means to sustain the basic necessities needed to live today" but oddly "ACCP also serves to improve the lives of Canadians who are artists... ...ACCP ensures no affiliated artist will have a hard time financially obtaining the items, tools and supplies needed to help them fulfill their greatest potential" which means that, somewhat bizarrely "Half of the members monthly dues will go directly to an account for the artist they choose"

Obviously a sensible strict definition of essentials is necessary and is helpfully provided. In the world of Menardian freetopia, Communication Costs, Chiropractic, Gym memberships, and Body work and Detailing fall under the essential basics, but Basic clothing will be limited and Things purchased with cash, Work clothes, gas for your work vehicle and a lawyers legal advice are a definite no-no

Actually, I think the artists get actual cash. It's only the poor sap who sends his cash that is restricted to purchasing items on the list - and even then only from vendors who have signed up to be providers.

Worst scam ever.

Exactly, tools of the trade are not allowed for ordinary mortals.

"Are you struggling to feed and clothe your family? Then gives us money and we'll give half of it to 'artists' to piss away and the rest we'll make magically disappear, nobody loses. Except you. Twice."

Worst scam ever.
That's a complement considering some of the crap Rob's tried. Also, your formatting's a little off there:

Worst ... scam ... ever!

So what has to happed before Menard gets hauled into court over this?

Does one of the consumers or providers have to file a civil suit?

Or does someone have to give testimony that Menard actually worked this scam on them in order for the authorities to charge him with a crime?

I'm not an expert in criminal law at all, so I don't really know. But I strongly suspect that if he actually starts collecting money, he very likely will find himself the subject of a criminal investigation.

But can you prove that he is "the subject"? :D

I’m thinking Menard signs up a few consumer subscribers and almost no providers. The ratio of consumers to providers is so lopsided that the thing just doesn’t work for the Menardian consumer.

So Menard tells the consumers (read: marks) that it’s not his fault businesses in Canada have been brainwashed and don’t want to go along.

He can even do a slight of hand by telling his marks that he’s filing papers on a few nonparticipating business using what we know is his private interpretation of the Bank of Canada Act.

Menard continues to collect the monthly fees as long as he can before the marks either wise up (having drunk the koolaide, not likely) or run out of money (more likely) in the accounts for which he has voided checks.

The hope has to be that the victims of the scam will never do anything about being ripped off any more than the C3PO marks have done anything about being told they are police officers.

Perhaps Auralee Broughton, Sales Representative, Telephone: 705-706-0005
would like to know that a conman is using this address to run his latest silly scam.
Probably not something she wants to tell prospective buyers, given that they are likely to inherit Menard as a tenant:

Currently owner has rented several of the units from $750-$1000 per unit.

And again.. "Prove that I am The Tenant" :D

I miss Bobby now that he doesn't post anywhere and instead just makes craptastic websites with generic photos peddling his awfully bad scams.

Come back Rob! 30,000 "Freemen" need you! :jaw-dropp
