Here's the problem though. If it's religious education then Santorum just acted to conflate religious faith to right wing ideology, and says that it's the left wing ideology that is atheism or nontheism. This is patently false, but it's a good opportunity to see how the Fundies/right wingers try to sell a bill of goods and hope that people buy it. Santorum doesn't seem the be one to let the facts get in the way of a good lie.
