Good/Petgoat was also one of the superheroes for Troof:
He's in the Spiderman outfit. Wonder Woman is Carol Brouillet, one of the longest-active troofers out there. She has a
semi-blog here, and tracking her changing attitudes towards Brian is interesting and revealing:
June 9, 2007:
Friday, Brian and I, in costume, leafletted the downtown Mountain View area before joining everyone for the regular Impeachment vigil at Castro and El Camino. Afterwards we went to downtown Palo Alto, which was "the happening place"- we quickly drew lots of attention, including from a Marine in full dress uniform who argued at length with Brian attracting a large crowd.
(Note: Brouillet is an activist for whatever catches her attention--she's antiwar, pro-impeachment, 9-11 Troof, etc.)
July 11, 2007:
I got up early to load my car and set up for the Listening Project and the Impeachment Rally. Brian helped me and brought the large Deception Dollar banner which he and Joni used when they held the Listening Project, in my absence.
September 9, 2007:
The great thing (for me) was that I was, at least, able to do the rally, march, and hand out the cards, which would have been impossible had it not been for Chuck and Brian and Scott, Bill, Bob, Camille, and others who helped carry stuff, set-up, minded the table, and pass out cards, too- it really was a group effort.
October 19, 2007:
I was stunned at last night's meeting when I was attacked heavily by Brian Good on the November 1st event AND the Trick or Truth idea, AND War on War Week- because of Kevin Barrett's involvement AND for having Captain May on my radio show. Jeremy Begin took Brian's side and the group voted against endorsing War on War Week and using any of our funds to promote it.
Unfortunately, Brian wrote a LONG attack email directed at me and cced to most of the local activists this morning which I was forced to respond to- and ate up much of my precious time.
On the brighter side, I do appreciate my family and friends more than ever for their understanding, love, and support, and I do hope that the time I spent responding to Brian's accusations might help increase understanding between Kevin Barrett and his accusers and mend some bridges (undoing the damage caused by those who are TRYING to create rifts in the movement and unjustly attacking Kevin Barrett, and Captain May, and I for being in league with those who have created some awful websites and films that target 9/11 Truth activists as members of Al Qaeda- with names, addresses and encouraging people to use violence against them.)
This is complicated, but Barrett has been on the skids with the Troofers for awhile now because of his association with Fetzer and the
Directed Energy Weapons crowd, and because of his Holocaust Denial email. May is
another anti-Semite who sees Jooos everywhere and who does numerology weirdness. May was also peripherally involved in a fiasco in Ireland thanks to JREF forum member 8Den. Morgan Stack had gotten DRG to make a speech in Ireland, but when Stack was found to have linked approvingly to some of May's anti-semitic posts, the owner of the venue where the speech was to be held cancelled it when 8Den brought it to his attention.
It also ties in with the
Kennebunkport warning fiasco, where Webster Tarpley claimed to have gotten Cindy Sheehan to sign a statement warning President Bush not to use a fake terrorist incident to start a war with Iran. When Sheehan said that the statement had been altered after her signature, Tarpley went ballistic, referring to Sheehan as a "wretched human being". This effectively ended Sheehan's involvement with the Truthers and the much-ballyhooed attempt to integrate the 9-11 Truth Movement with the peace movement. This resulted in a lot of anger at Tarpley. Regardless of the facts about the signing, a lot of Troofers were angry at Tarpley for not being more conciliatory towards a high-profile person who had previously expressed at least a tentative friendship towards the nutbars.
This mostly split the Troofers along generational lines, with the oddball result that Steven Jones, Jim Fetzer, Kevin Barrett, and Webster Tarpley were participants in Les Jamieson's 9-11-07 festivities (along with Craig Ranke), while all the younger people went with Luke and the Changers.
Brouillet seems to have survived, while Good is now on the outs with the Bay Area kooks:
About eight of us will be attending the Media Strategy Summit in Santa Cruz at the end of the month. We voted to ask Brian not to attend meetings or be on committees- which was the most emotional, painful part of the meeting for most of us. I can't handle the emotional abuse.
