Reward for identifying tooth from Loch Ness...

Having spent plenty of time in the company of the noble snow crab (and its best friend, potato salad), I feel comfortable saying it's definitely not part of a crab's leg; it's not hollow (crabs are basically muscle and exoskeleton) and the thick end of it isn't part of any joint assembly I've ever dissected (read: eaten) on a crustacean.

Actually, I was thinking the pincer joint off some species of fiddler crab.

Well technically if the creature is "real" then there must be more than one - actually there would need to be quite a few in order to maintain the population over the years :)

Yes, but not in Loch Ness - she pops across to see one of her "friends" in Norway:

Canada:

Sweden:

or even just round the corner in Loch Morar:

when she is feeling "frisky" or just wants a bit of company.

She is often seen negotiating the stretch of the Caledonian Canal through Inverness as she comes and goes, but we don't tell the tourists about that as too many people standing on the bridges can delay the traffic.
