Someone had challenged people to think of any real outstanding worth that Trump has, or something like that : and I had mentioned upthread his (unintentional) comic genius.

Well, here's another : he's so outstandingly suited to his name, and his name to him.

Think about it. Obama, the Clintons, and so on, Presidents and wannabes alike, right back to Washington, they could have had any name, really, and it wouldn't have mattered. But Trump? God himself couldn't think of a better name for him, or create a better man to go with that name.

No one is better adjusted than Trump, as far as their name.

That doesn't mean anything, Google hits are not randomly listed. If a bunch of Trumpers are posting about something, you can often get the first 2 pages of just alt-right pages.

It's a mystery to me why certain trolls (not going to name names, because we all know who they are) aren't just put on everybody's ignore lists and forgotten. I'm not talking about the ones who actually at least add something to a discussion, but the ones who only participate by quirping sarcastic one-liners that you can only really respond to with some witty remark of your own or "dude, stop trolling".

No, Trump is simply an idiot, liar, traitor and bigot. When he does idiotic, treasonous, dishonest and bigoted things the media reports it. If he would stop being an idiot, liar, traitor and bigot, the search results would improve for him.

Yeah, I admit that is a tricky one. Maybe I am a little suckered. It seems over time the US has done slightly better than other countries (using growth as a measure). I guess this means that OVERALL the US is better off but the transition of its traditional economic base seems like it is hurting.

Trump seems to have galvanised those affected and seems to be helping them. This has given me the impression that previously you were getting ripped off.

You do worse against the poorer economies but that is fair enough.

I read a couple of pretty unbiased articles about this and it seems you weren’t getting ripped off as much as I thought.

Why don't you support Trump?

I am an Australian, I can’t vote for him anyway.

I rarely vote here even though it is ridiculously compulsory (that’s democracy for you). I do not have strong political beliefs, they all seem to have good points and bad points. The ones that seem to work best are the trickle down type with strong social safety nets.

I said earlier here I did an online test before your last election about who I should vote for and it came up and 93 % Bernie Sanders. Odd as I though he was an old fud who I would never vote for. My Trump and Hilary %’s came out about even at 74 %. No one believed me.

You can be a supporter without being a voter.

Trickle down doesn't seem to match with Sanders, IMO. Maybe that test has a flaw.



I ask because if you don't support Trump, you should be able to see why someone may not like him. Not everyone is swayed by the media. Especially if you are someone like me who reads from a wide variety of news sources and never watches TV news.
