Results of the Mavi Marmara Attack

I didn't say they were indistinguishable. You defined "open borders" as allowing anything in - including weapons.

Are you retracting that definition now?
see my post above. I have joined you in rejoicing in the fact that Egypt is preventing the entry of all weapons. Because they are so good at that sort of thing.

I'm sure the borders going from closed to open will not increase weapons transit......

nope...not playing wac-a-mole with requests to disprove a claim. Claim was the Greenhouses were destroyed...so far the best support managed for this is Bigjell offering a link about "dozens" out of 3000 being damaged. Then a link about the crops produced (from destroyed greenhouses?) If you really want evidence from me I probably can't improve on bigjells effort. want me to post the links again?

unless someone wants to offer some evidence that actually supports of the claim I can't see the point in continuing on with this silly diversion.

If you read that article, those "dozens" were looted on Tuesday.

Do you think there may be other days in the week too?

I agree. Bigjells link really doesn't go any where near demonstrating that 3000 were destroyed or even largely destroyed.

maybe you can help him out.

Is there any evidence that Gaza sneaks weapons through the open yet restricted border crossing with Egypt, or ever did? I'm pretty sure they try to smuggle their weapon in through tunnels, which Egypt is trying to close with subterranean walls and explosives (and, according to Hamas, poisonous gas).

So, to recap...
The Fool suggested that Egypt's open border allowed weapons into Gaza.
Several articles were posted showing that suspected shipments of arms were not allowed in by Egypt.
The Fool dithers for a good week without addressing the articles and then sarcastically suggests that weapons are being smuggled through the open border anyway and that Egypt is notoriously bad at preventing weapons from being smuggled through the open border.
It is pointed out that there is no evidence that weapons were ever smuggled through border crossings.
...
Um... profit?

It's getting a bit uncivil in here. Some posts moved to AAH. Please discontinue the bickering.
