Another plus for Tesla, a driver taken ill gets autopilot to take him to hospital:

It's like the autopilot. The more you require the pilots to use it, the less they fly, and the more their perishable skills atrophy. (See Air France flight 447 for one of many examples).

Its just about the perfect example... three experienced pilots, all unable to realise that their aircraft was in a stall, plummeting out of the sky, and all they had to do to save all 228 people on board was to push the stick forward.
