Repeal Child Labor Laws?

Uhm... I may be missing something, but exactly why can't they work in places with beds?

I don't think you are missing anything. Probable extra protection against sexual exploitation of children (porn/prostitution). It may seem redundant, but I am assuming the phrasing is in there to get around smart sleazebags who had initially found a clever loophole around exploitation laws prior to such language being included in labor codes.

If people are really worried about this maybe you should consider trying to find 10 states willing to ratify the 'Foster Amendment' (Wikipedia) and give Child Labor powers to the US Congress.

Then again, it was put forward by a Republican...

The main purpose of this bill is for child entertainers in Branson.

I don't see anything in it that suggests it will repeal child labor laws, in fact this is yet more child labor law.

So, it's still a bad proposal but not an evil proposal. :)

Seriously, I don't see a good reason why child entertainers should be working any more than should child cotton pickers. It's bad enough that we have kids working in television and movies. I've been continuously employed (well, okay, I took a month off between jobs once) since age 15 and that's bad enough.

There's a huge tween market...
